The Bridge Multifamily Team at Cushman & Wakefield gives their... blood, sweat, time & money
Blood
American Red Cross
The Bridge Multifamily Team members regularly donate their blood to the American Red Cross. The American Red Cross prevents and alleviates human suffering in the face of emergencies by mobilizing the power of volunteers and the generosity of donors. The American Red Cross provides about 40% of our nation’s blood and blood components, all from generous volunteer donors. But supply can’t always meet demand because only about 3% of age-eligible people donate blood yearly. Their network of generous donors, volunteers and employees share a mission of preventing and relieving suffering, here at home and around the world. Their mission is to teach life-saving skills so our communities can be better prepared when the need arises. They do this every day because the Red Cross is needed - every day. Let's roll up our sleeves and donate.
Sweat
The Salvation Army
The Bridge Multifamily Team members have worked with the Salvation Army in many ways, including in the preschool administration, Christmas time volunteering, cash donations, and selling one of their multifamily buildings to free up capital for their new City of Hope property in Anaheim. City of Hope is a comprehensive solution that leverages a 325-bed low-barrier emergency shelter, 72-bed permanent supportive housing, onsite medical and dental care, alongside an award winning 175-bed drug and alcohol rehabilitation center all at one location. The Salvation Army is famous for its work with people who have fallen on hard times: it offers help to the elderly, the young, offenders, drug addicts and blind and disabled people; it provides food and shelter for the homeless and operates food distribution centers.
